At the end, the people were climbing up a mountain or rocks, and they were trying to escape lava that was rising. The very end showed them at the very top with no where to go and the lava kept rising.

You say it is Sci-Fi but this description is not specifically Sci-Fi. So, can you remember any more details (that made you think it was Sci-Fi) - or any other details at all? A promotion poster? Characters? Plot? – Wikis Feb 24 '12 at 21:53
