The Kid Sid in his angry state becomes out of control and destroys anything and everything which comes in his way. His destroying technique is almost similar to Jean Grey's Phoenix form (X-Men) and their powers too seem the same. So are there any differences between their mutant powers?

cross universe answers basically invite discussion and have no clear cut answers, which I would guess is the reason for the down votes. – sarge_smith Dec 5 '12 at 13:09

Sid has telekinesis, which is the same underlying power that Jean Grey possesses. He doesn't have the X-gene since he doesn't inhabit the Marvel universe and isn't a mutant in that particular fashion.
