Stargate Atlantis (often abbreviated to SGA) is a 5-season sci-fi TV series, a part of the Stargate franchise. Stargate Atlantis began running in parallel with season 8 of Stargate SG-1 before taking over the Stargate mantle with season 4 after SG-1 finished after it's 10th season.
