I am both a brony who loves the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and a dedicated Harry Potter fan.

I first discovered Harry Potter in the library of my grade 1 classroom. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was the only good book there, and I ended up reading it about 5 or 6 times that year. Since then I've read each Harry Potter book many times, and I'm absolutely in love with the world J.K. Rowling created.

On Pottermore, I'm a Slytherin, borderline Ravenclaw, and proud of it. Centuries ago the greatest wizard who ever lived, Merlin himself, spent his Hogwarts years under the dungeons in the Slytherin common room. With that kind of history I'm more than happy to be under the serpent.

I'm a very unusual Slytherin, not the kind you would have seen in the books. I'm the kid in green robes sulking around the library quietly reading anything he can find, getting top grades in OWL's and NEWT's like Hermione, but unlike her, not at all brave enough to risk my neck for the greater good. I'd gladly help out friends (pure-blood or otherwise) with school work, but at the smallest sign of trouble I'll generally be the first out the door. I can be rather Machiavellian, though I draw the line at cheating, blackmail, and the like. I'm quiet and I keep to myself. In person I can be quite sarcastic and cynical, though only for humour: I will never insult anybody else, and I always respect others. My ambition is to become the next Merlin, and though I intend to experiment with the Dark Arts for the sake of knowledge, I swore to myself that I would never use them against others; one less Dark wizard to Slytherin's name is one less wizard wasted and another stain saved on my already darkened house history.

My wand is 10 and 3/4 inches, made of hazel, unyielding, with a phoenix feather core.
