The vacuum bending is something any airbender could do, you know, if they weren't pacifists. He airbends the air out of the Earth Queen's and Korra's lungs. | |

Similarly, I recall that Toph taught herself metal-bending and Katara was able to master blood-bending. We may never know what the advanced level for air-bending would be, since the Airbenders are effectively extinct. | |
