@TheLethalCarrot I don't care, because only the books are canon . ;-)

Sep 8, 2016 at 10:33 | comment | added | Aegon | Also regarding Aegon and Visenya, Aegon's marriage to Visenya was a forced by custom. Aegon's marriage to Rhaenys was however based on love. Which is further reinforced that relation between Visenya and Aegon was dutiful but never warm while Rhaenys was cherished by Aegon. Aegon even actively handed out duties to Visenya to get rid of her for a while

(Their marriage is another likely candidate tho it appears that Rhaenyra may have been in love with her uncle but Daemon most likely just wanted to get in an important position)

Feb 15, 2016 at 3:06 | comment | added | TenthJustice | How about Jorah Mormount? Married his last wife out of love, after winning a tournament for her favor.

Feb 12, 2016 at 9:07 | comment | added | Möoz | @user568459 Weird, I thought I had written Tyrion and Tysha. Also I'm about to do a write up of how GRRM's most loving couples aren't married; Loras and Renly being one :)
Feb 12, 2016 at 8:23 | comment | added | user56reinstatemonica8 | I'm also tempted to suggest Marge and Renly, their marriage allowed people in love to be together (just wasn't each other...)
Feb 12, 2016 at 8:23 | comment | added | user56reinstatemonica8 | How about Tyrion and Tysha? He loved her, she seemed to be genuinely fond of him after comforting her when she was chased, there might have been an element of gold-digging / status-chasing but didn't they live in a commoner's cottage until Jaime told on him?
