Dec 16, 2017 at 8:51 comment added Reinstate Monica - Goodbye SE What about Robin? He shows almost all his face, especially in the 60s TV series. He'd have a better disguise if he used a fake nose and moustache.

Apr 24, 2016 at 14:46 comment added user251563 This has just made me realize that batman could really never get away with having a beard - it would look preposterous. Anything more than a bit of stubble would just make him look silly given his mask's design.

Apr 24, 2016 at 9:41 comment added Aswin P J Just guessing .. But batman relies on his Martial arts training to fight the bad guys than some other out of the world capabilities. In most of the martial arts, breath control is a very important concept .. People are taught to move along with the breath, feel the breath moving through the body etc. A fully covered mask will affect the breathing. Even with no martial arts training.. try punching a guy with and without fully covered face masks :D You will notice the difference. TLDR; **Batman needs breath to deliver his moves **
