We learn pretty early on that Mouse is a Foo Dog, and at one point Bob tells Harry what he knows about Foo Dogs, but that would seem to make Mouse a relatively powerful guardian of a particular place, not an all-around heavyweight of the supernatural world. My question is more along the lines of why Mouse is the only thing in the series that seems to outright spook Nicodemus/Anduriel. The reaction is disproportionate to what Mouse appears to be and to the powers Bob ascribes to him. | |
