You'll get a much better reception (cause you clearly know your stuff) if you stick to the facts and add in as much supporting evidence as you can. That's what makes a good answer here and will gain you plenty of votes :) | |

For example, starting a sentence with 'Something not proposed in Star Trek, but would make a lot of sense,' is not something we really encourage on this site. On this site, we're generally looking for canon answers, ideally supported by references to the original content or an interview with the author/director/whoever, that kind of thing. | |
