If Fox manages to shop it out to another network, they'll be making a move on the Bad Lands, and probably a bit more focus on dinosaur fights than last season.
Apr 17, 2012 at 5:32 | comment | added | Doctor Doom | @Thaddeus Its another thing: If season 2 is launched, they would bring back fracture in existence somehow... :)

The energy required to hold a stable link between the two locations should be greater than any energy use by humanity since the beginning of civilization. Should the show be renewed (still in question) we will find the fracture is still around or others will be found.
Apr 16, 2012 at 17:55 | comment | added | Doctor Doom | @Thaddeus When portal was open, the blast was able to hit fracture.. that's the point. Offline device destruction could definitely not destroy fracture..
Apr 16, 2012 at 17:53 | comment | added | Doctor Doom | @Thaddeus Don't apply logics.. The fracture was destroyed in last. Watch last episode again.

All this device did was to bind the fracture to a particular location rather than having it hopping across the landscape. Think of the device as you would a stargate, making a single exit point rather than a twisting thread that would move around the landscape randomly.
Apr 16, 2012 at 15:18 | comment | added | Doctor Doom | Read first paragraph of my question and watch last episode again. After Lucas became free, he tried contacting troops near portal and told them: "Hope Plaza is under attack. Tell them to power it down or unlink it from fracture. Or, we'll lose it."
