And "shipping costs" include the cost of hiring guards, bribing the Hutts, etc). There's also an information imbalance: a fully functioning astromech may be worth much more, but the cost and opportunity cost of triaging the droids is also part of transaction cost (if you can make $20k/month shipping droids xor $20k/day in the stock market, ignore the droids.) | |
