Anakin created it under the lightside of force meditation. So someone with the understanding of the lightside would be more in tune with it. One reason it came to Rey instead of Kylo in TFA. If Obi Wan was in yune wiyh the lightside of the force he could foresee the lightsabers force properties and thus the lightsaber Anakin was using was actually working against him. | |
