Mar 6, 2018 at 2:00 comment added Kevin @can-ned_food: As far as tech goes, Skyrim is very rigid: all humanoid characters have a single fixed race, which normally doesn't change, except that vampires are considered distinct from non-vampires (so for example you have "Argonian" and "Argonian vampire" as distinct races). The rest is mostly just the sliders you get in the character creation screen. It certainly cannot "meld" different races together.
Mar 5, 2018 at 23:11 comment added can-ned_food Of course, they often do this so as to simplify the need for additional skins and meshes — or sprites — in a game. Otherwise they'd need to account for each possible combination in future characters, whether by wholly new work or by some Monster Mash system.
