Mar 7, 2019 at 18:45 comment added Kyle Doyle @DarrelHoffman That character's name is Lobot, and he is a cyborg, but I was trying to stick to cybernetic armor and life support systems
Mar 7, 2019 at 18:43 comment added Darrel Hoffman What about that bald guy that works for Lando in Cloud City? You know, the one with the computer-thing attached to the back of his head? It appears to interface directly with his brain, meaning it's not just some fancy headgear that can be taken off at will.
Mar 7, 2019 at 10:32 comment added Baldrickk You could add Zuckuss to the list - not due to injury, but incompatible biology.

Added additional examples and expanded section about Legends continuity.
Mar 6, 2019 at 23:22 comment added John Doe I believe Darth Malgus had a similar suit.
Mar 6, 2019 at 23:00 comment added Thunderforge You should add Azlyn Rae from Star Wars: Legacy (Legends continuity). She was given life-saving armor specifically compared to Vader's, and it was against her will at that.
Mar 6, 2019 at 22:02 comment added Kyle Doyle @jpmc26 I was mostly going for characters who had cybernetics that functioned as body armor, life support systems and/or masks rather than just cybernetics of any sort (because Star Wars has a ton of those). Luke's prosthesis is an important thematic link to Vader, to be sure, but it didn't feel like a good fit for the question.
Mar 6, 2019 at 21:55 comment added jpmc26 Not sure whether Luke's hand is worth mentioning.
Mar 6, 2019 at 21:35 comment added User1000547 In the non-canon ending of the non-canon Force Unleashed, Sith Stalker Armor is introduced and is implied to be "favored by vicious Sith assassins". (Given that I don't think it's referenced anywhere outside of those games, I don't even know if it's worth adding to the answer, but I figured I'd mention it).
Mar 6, 2019 at 19:05 comment added Jacob C. @RLH I'm pretty sure his coughing was included to make clearer to audiences that he isn't a robot (something Vader's breath immediately conveyed in ANH).

Mar 6, 2019 at 17:18 comment added RLH I'll be honest, I assumed Grevious was a well advanced android. I had no clue he was once humanoid.
