ImI'm currently watching the Chronicles, as im. As I'm writing this Wil is just going off to StorLock (btw thisthis will contain spoilerrsspoilers.) Anywhoo the

The magic comes fro,from within the Loaden stone, the other stones are just the conduit. Like with humans and the paranormal (OUIJAouija boards being the conduit) the real power is in the human (or in this case the elf.)
