22 hours ago | comment | added | Yaroslav Kornachevskyi | Just found that Ukrainian translation (Ternopil, navchalna knyga, 2016) contains "Лікар Бейлі сказав мені, що саме трапилося минулої ночі.", or, "Dr. Bailey told me what happened last night."

yesterday | comment | added | Amit | @straycat oh my, I shouldn't have missed that! Thanks a lot, that's helpful. I think you can actually turn that into a fully legitimate answer.
yesterday | comment | added | straycat | Note also that some pages earlier the name of the doctor is given as Morris Bailey.
yesterday | comment | added | straycat | In my German translation (2005, area verlag), Bill Roth doesn't give a name, but just calls him "Der Arzt ..." ("The doctor ..."). This may be a deliberate choice of the translator, or already present in a corrected original, I can't say. But it hints to the name being an error. (And no, it's definitely not "The Doctor ..." :) ...)
yesterday | comment | added | Amit | @YaroslavKornachevskyi Correct! My bad, the two books were fused as one in my memory :) Nonetheless, if I am not wrong, Bill doesn't actually get the full story even in Hand of Oberon, but is only exposed to more inexplicable mysteries that beg for an explanation... :)
yesterday | comment | added | Yaroslav Kornachevskyi | Bill also met Corwin in the next book (Hand of Oberon)
