In today's words, it's like saying a technical founder has no choice but to turn the code into a company to reach the true full commercial potential - but then you get a board of directors, regulatory oversight etc... or you can release it as open source, but then a council of third party interests will need to form for governance (you can only be a benevolent dictator...) - so deeply fascinating!
