Was there no effect of the basilisk's deathly stare on Fawkes as it flew into the chamber of secret because assecrets? After all, we know ,a basilisk does havehas a fatal effect on animals too (Mrs. Norris).
Agreed that it will respawn, but shouldntshouldn't there be any effect on Fawkes?
