| Mar 14, 2014 at 0:45 | comment | added | Hypnosifl | Asimov does describe "Microvac" as having "molecular valves" in place of transistors, so its parts are on a quantum scale in size, but he wasn't thinking specifically that it was using quantum physics to make its computations more efficient, and without that it wouldn't be a true "quantum computer" in the modern sense of the word. | |
