At this, I came to conclude that Paul took his jihad route instead. Of note, he called it "terrible purpose" and was unsure of its results, which is contrasted with Leto calling it "the golden path" and his certainty of it. The difference between the two only being that Leto was pre-born. His humanity was apparently less valued. Thus an irony, that Leto would surrender his humanity to save all of humanity. | |
