Star-lord's been around that end of the galaxy for a while, and the amount of info they have is more than if earth-info was very recent. Perhaps, like the other answer peripherally implies, MCU Earth being under Asgardian protection stopped the rest from barging in, until Loki himself brought others into it? | |
