Jan 20, 2017 at 19:27 comment added user77255 I think the Doctor's name on Voyager is Joe Zimmerman. We know his actual name is Joe, endgame. He thinks of himself as son to Dr. Lewis Zimmerman, his creator, saved his life and patched up their Father & Son like relationship. He also looks identical to him save the length/style of hair. Joe Zimmerman in my book.

Jan 15, 2015 at 13:34 comment added Jonathon I would say that he came to identify with being called The Doctor. By the time he had time to seriously start looking for a name, all of them sounded hollow beside what his friends had been calling him since he activated.

Oct 3, 2014 at 2:44 comment added Izkata It comes up semi-regularly throughout the entire series, including the final episodes. Are you asking why the writers never had him choose one, or looking for an in-universe reason for his indecision?
