May 22, 2015 at 2:05 comment added user31178 If she's phasing out of sync with the Earth's movement, she's standing still. So her speed is 0, not infinite. She would be changing relative position no faster than the rotation of the Earth, which is appr. 1000 MPH. Hypothetically, if she phased out of sync with the movement of the Earth through space, she'd still only change relative position at appr. 1.34 million MPH, which is .2% the speed of light, which is obviously not close to FTL or infinite.
