British mini-series about a man who has published a small book of poems. He is known as a "writer" but doesn't write another story. The series begins as he is cleaning out his isolated home and burning its contents except for materials related to his four (I think 4 - may be more) wives. These memorabilia he places in neat stacks on a table.

After his death, someone publishes the materials and this becomes a best selling novel.

In one scene, the man is unmarried, thus without funds. It's his "Alpo" (not really Alpo, but a British dog food) days. He eats the dog food with ketchup and steak sauce. Very funny!

Do you know the name and where I can get a cd of this miniseries?
