I wonder how the Emperor of Mankind of the Warhammer 40k universe could be classified in generic fantasy terms. Could he be named a lich?

  • He's not a lich which is an undead being. The Emperor may look like one, but he's never actually died, just decrepitly long lived while wasting away. He is defined in 40K as a perpetual. In general fantasy he'd probably be referred to as immortal. – Daniel Jun 12 '18 at 2:18
