Dragonglass, at least if it is like our obsidian, would be too brittle to make classical sword. But that does not mean that they are limited to arrowheads, spears (by the way, the first picture seems to show spear head and not arrow head) or dagger. The lack of good metallurgy give a good incentive for mesoamericans civilizations to use obsidian

They used, for example the macuhatil, which is a sort of wooden sword with incrusted obsidian blades. enter image description here

I don't know any other way to make weapons made of obsidians, and having the same properties as a sword. Would they find a way (by making macuhatil or other ways) to make swords with dragonglass or not seems pure speculation though.

Also, keep in mind that they just start the extraction of obsidian, so they need more time to make proper weapon, and it will not be easy, as a blacksmith is not used to make dragonglass weapons.
