Actually, I have canonical PROOF that the dragons in the Harry Potter universe, DRAGONS CAN SPEAK THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE TO HUMANS. Probably not Full Blooded Muggles, but Definitely Anyone from the Wizarding World. However, I am holding out for the reveal at this time as I am the only one in the universe apparently who has figured this out, as I see it NOWHERE in Google AT ALL, and it is the public concensus that Dragons in opinion, CANNOT physically speak to humans. The only Hitch in my step, as I hesitate to bodily make my announcement, is that I cannot verify wether or not the proof I speak of IS in fact, verbal, and not some sort of telepathic ability. But LOGICALLY, I am assuming that it was word-spoken communication, as I also have not seen any canonical evidence that dragons can communicate with humans via the mind, and in plain English. So my assumption is as stated above, and once I've spread the word it will change everyone's opinions on a widely debated question. So please, wait with baited breath, I shouldn't be too too long in sharing my information :) EDIT: --- Ok.. I will divulge my findings, although I have got to admit it is a little unbelievable that nobody has caught this yet. SO, in HPATDH 2, when they are busting out of Gringott's bank on the back of the iron belly, PLEASE crank the volume way up, right before the dragon flies up and crashes through the ceiling of the lobby, and out into the world. I'd say, a good 15-20 seconds before he breaks the glass ceiling with Potter and company on its back, turn up the volume, and listen. What you will hear, as the Iron Belly dragon rears his head, and before he flies upward and through the glass ceiling of Gringott's, is the dragon in a very low and lulled tone, saying "THANK YOU", out loud, and I'm assuming toward Harry, Hermoine, and Ronald. - Personally I am assuming that any event found in any one of the Harry Potter films is considered to be concrete fact, and hence, canonical, no? Unless I am insane and hearing voices, I would appreciate any one of you to take a listen and verify this, because as far as I know I am the ONLY person to ever make mention of this, and thus would make me the person that changes the entire perspective on wether or not dragons can use spoken language to communicate with humans. And because of this I have withheld my information to date, and would really like credit for the find, as would an archeologist want full credit for discovering a new specie of animal that died a million years ago, lol. Thanks guys. I hope your eyes widen and I made a few people happy this morning. Please remember the name and give credit where credit is due :D -Russ King ;)
