Set prior to the beginning of *The Walking Dead*, and on the West Coast of the US as opposed to the east, *Fear the Walking Dead follows a group thrown together by circumstance and family ties as they attempt to navigate their way through the early days of the zombie outbreak and the ensuing end of the world.
