Magical items can be anything that has been infused with some kind of spell or other magical power - quite popular in fantasy, and range from rare (the One Ring in Lord of the Rings) to common (portkeys in Harry Potter). In the Harry Potter universe, why aren't there more maps enchanted like the Marauder's Map?
