Recently retired (12/2012) after 29+ years doing software development for a fortune 50 firm. Read a lot of sci fi (the 'hard' stuff) as I was growing up, not so much in recent years. Not much into fantasy but Tolkien is an exception to that. Fan of really good classic sci fi flicks from the 50's (that's my age showing). There are only a handful IMHO. Fan of classic Star Trek, TNG and Enterprise. Love the reboot !
