comment Searching for a particular “pact with the devil” story where waiting for your lawyers to vet the fine print still doesn't help
@Nova this post seems to be excerpt from longer piece (not very long, but longer), not entire story. Yes, it's not immediately clear.

comment If Harry could come back, why couldn't Dumbledore?
@dobby In "He wasn't in direct possession of it", "he" refers to Harry, not Dumbledore. At the time when Harry "conquered the death" and returned from limbo, Harry haven't had hold Elder Wand for one second of his life. He started possessing physical object only after last duel with Voldemort.

comment Feature-length animated movie from 80s or early 90s about humans avoiding androids
@wcullen If you make "Gandahar" an answer, I will accept it. It is this movie! I see now that some of my hints were actually misleading (there are other people in movie, there is nature, blue is used more than red/orange, it's androids who shoot), but a lot check. That movie was originally released under title "Ferroids vs. Gandaharians" in my country, so it checks as well. Animation might not be as good as I remember, but art style definitely stands out. On a side - judging by nudity alone, this is definitely not children movie. What my parents were thinking when they let me watch it?!

comment Why does The Chamber of Secrets claim that Harry “only” inherited one thing from his father?
Note that Potter's wealth is mostly there as plausible explanation for people who wonder how main character could have all his clothes and other stuff. Also, it helps to build psychological description of Harry - he has all the reasons to hang out with people like Malfoy, but he values other things in life. It's almost as books had some message about importance of your choices or something.

comment What is the smallest object(s) that a Force user has manipulated?
@Ellesedil: I'd think that he "detonates" force in the middle of the air instead of focusing on moving individual particles - something like Force Whirlwind or Force Push (random youtube link)

comment Star Wars Spacewalks
I don't have sources at the moment, so I'll leave it as a comment. In canonical novel Lords of the Sith there is a scene where Vader leaves his own spaceship and literally spacewalks to board another vessel. In legends novel Darth Bane: Rule of Two, Bane flies "few hundred miles" (as far as I remember) through space from Dxun to Onderon.

comment Are the Weasleys actually poor?
As for trip to Egypt, that question was asked not long ago and some answers try to provide more psychological explanation of that decision. Other than that, Weasleys are typical media poor family - they are said to be poor, other people treat them as poor but they don't actually face consequences that poor people do in real world.
