Apr 27, 2017 at 21:27 comment added DCShannon I didn't upvote this initially, and still haven't, but I would if that last comment including the reference to Fireball containing sweeteners was added to the answer.
Apr 4, 2017 at 9:26 comment added Hesperus Typically, Anything that is sweetened artificially ( certain sweet ciders / sweetened ales / alcopops etc ) will use HFCS as its cheap and easy. - I'd also like to see a source that states logan doesn't drink cocktails, as that seems like inferrence - Notably - During the film, logan drinks fireball whisky, which does contain sweetners
Apr 4, 2017 at 9:02 comment added Hesperus @Chloe - I'm sorry but i have to disagree:. With a few exceptions (below), most alcoholic beverages contain corn syrup. The corn syrup is used both to boost the alcohol content during the fermentation process and/or to sweeten the finished product. This is especially true of beer, coolers, and drinks for mixing. Also, bourbon is made exclusively from corn! Source: cornfree.ca/corn-avoidance-101/…
Mar 30, 2017 at 18:11 comment added Chloe Most alcohol doesn't contain corn syrup! There is probably some grain alcohol made from corn, but only a mixer like sour mix would even have corn syrup - and Logan doesn't drink cocktails.
