Green appears to be directly in relation to floo transport. My comment re: Molly was that the face doesn't appear to just be a 'video' or virtual representation, as Molly is able to stick food in Diggory's mouth; his head is physically there in their house | |

I don't have the books in front of me, but I know the origin fireplace is given as green in the books, and I think in the first convo's with Sirius, it says something about it just appearing in the fire, no mention of color change. | |
