I enjoy reading Science Fiction. I'm mostly familiar with YA Science Fiction from the 1960's and 1970's, and Adult Science Fiction from the 1950's to the 1980's. I am a fan of Star Trek: The Original Series, and many Science Fiction movies going back to the "Day the Earth Stood Still" (Directed by Robert Wise).

Trivia: I happened to have breakfast with the polymath Freeman Dyson and then dinner with the director Robert Wise in the same week when I visited Tucson and Phoenix, and I didn't know who either of them were until later.
