Aug 31, 2015 at 21:12 comment added Matthew Read I wish I could unlearn this. Great answer ... horrible concept.
Aug 31, 2015 at 14:49 comment added Omegacron Thank God they left this out. The prequels screwed up existing continuity enough as it is.

Aug 31, 2015 at 12:33 comment added phantom42 Did some more digging. I believe the scan of the draft script may be from The Making of Episode 3, which I think I may have a copy of at home to check tonight.

Aug 31, 2015 at 6:12 comment added phantom42 False. According to the annotated screenplays for the OT, the story synopsis dated May 1, 1975 was titled "The Adventures of Luke Starkiller Episode 1: The Star Wars". Additionally, "in the rough and first drafts we meet General Luke Skywalker on Aquilae as he walks into the middle of a meeting that King Kayos is having with the High Senate."
Aug 31, 2015 at 6:03 comment added Praxis @WadCheber : This is the same man who wanted to name the main character "Lucas Starkiller" after himself, and would only compromise as far as "Luke" in the final version.

Aug 31, 2015 at 5:37 comment added Wad Cheber Wow. That man's total disregard for continuity never ceases to amaze me. "Han knowing Yoda as a boy, even though he clearly didn't know the name when Luke said it on Hoth? I LOVE IT! Chewbacca being Han's father, even though Han treats him like an asshole constantly in the original trilogy? MAKE IT HAPPEN!"
