Why did Sonmi 451 suggest this to the archivist?
The Archivist is asking Sonmi-451 to speculate on Seer Rhee's thoughts and motivations, which she can't possibly do. The Archivist knew this, but asked the question anyway. I don't believe her ...

Why would the interrogator in Cloud Atlas even care about legal procedures for a fabricant?
In the book by David Mitchel, it sounds like the genomicists pushed for Sonmi's "Archivism" to learn more about Sonmi herself.
