Why was there a toilet with working plumbing near the T-Rex paddock?
"Spared no expense" except he overworked, underpaid and understaffed the IT department, resulting in the downfall of Jurassic Park. I smell a carefully timed and plotted conspiracy between Hammond and Mrs. T-Rex, a very complex Rube Goldberg machine of events were meticulously planned out in order to get the lawyer killed. I mean, it's no coincidence Hammond walks out without a scratch at the end of the film.

What is the in-universe term for Muggles in other countries?
If you fixed the inaccuracies (after I made the observation), then there are no more inaccuracies to speak of.

Is there significance to the all-female main characters in Annihilation?
@zabeus You ignored my other points, but even if you hadn't, I agree with you, I may well have read too much into it, that's exactly why I ask the question to people who have had the luxury to read the book, and/or analyses, or author's commentary, etc.

@JeremyFrench If the lead cast were all-male, and it were called Area Y, and the book cover had a giant Y, all the while focusing on the DNA as much as it did, and all the men were seen doing things that are seen as typically female iconography, and they made a point about it in a line in the movie, then I would ask "Why are all the main characters male".

@Edlothiad There doesn't need to be, but there are aspects of the movie and book (as described in the question), that make me suspect there are reasons outside of just "Because they were", and so I ask whether this is something addressed in the novel, or otherwise uncovered by analysis/author

@Edlothiad I do not understand. They are all female, and I'm not asking the question just because they are female. See the question to see why I'm asking the question.

Why does it say on Netflix that "Star Trek: Discovery" is a Netflix original series?
@Loki In both cases, Netflix is paying money for distribution rights.

Has anyone else in the Star Wars universe ever run out of fuel?
I swear they made Rebels to set up precedents for The Last Jedi. Every time people complain about something completely new or seemingly never-done-before from Episode 8, the response is always pointing at one or another episode from Rebels as justification. Very intriguing.

Why did Mark Hamill want everyone to “flip the bird” in tribute to Carrie Fisher?
@RossRidge Well, actually, it wasn't that clear to me, no. I didn't know that criteria like that made for strong enough basis to warrant relevance in the context of a site like this, especially where "On-topic" is a quality that seems key to the ethos. Whether I disagree personally or not was actually irrelevant, I was merely looking for a semi-decent explanation, which you seem to have provided. Thank you.

I'm wondering why this belongs in SciFi&Fantasy, rather than, say, entertainment trivia. I understand the actors in question are involved in Star Wars, a decidedly fantasy movie, so is it the case that we may indulge in asking questions that surround sci-fi & fantasy properties, even if they are in themselves definitely not sci-fi & fantasy topics (like this question)?
