In the second season (and afaik, series) finale, Will is thought to have sacrificed his life to undo the warlock lord's corruption of the world- but near the end, when the elfstones glow in Mareth's hand she realizes Will is alive somewhere.

In the final scene Will wakes up in a bleak landscape with humanoid skeletons half-buried in the dirt around him and winged monsters flying in a black, starless sky above- where is this place?

Sounds like the Forbidding, the prison the demons are kept in by the elves tree. I don't have a source though

Cannot be answered canonically.

It was a cliffhanger for Season 3, which is cancelled. So wherever Season 3 was intended to start.

It can't be answered within the canon of the show, but the writers must have had something in mind...

  • Sure, if they give an interview revealing it, that would be the canonical answer. However, they are usually forbidden to reveal any details by the franchise owners, who may decide to restart it in the future.
